Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, and RRC, a Pan-European specialized IT distributor, today announced they have signed an agreement certifying RRC as an official Avaya distributor with rights to promote and sell Avaya solutions across ten countries in the Central Independent States (CIS) and Eastern Europe (EE).

The agreement will extend the reach of Avaya’s popular Unified Communications offerings in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Serbia and Slovenia.
RRC hopes to increase considerably its share on the prospective market of IP-telephony and business communications in these growing markets. The RRC Networking division, which has distributed network and telecommunication equipment for more than 15 years, has approximately 35% of RRC’s revenues and counts 1500 companies among its customers.
“RRC’s global strategy is influenced by its  Added Value distribution model, offering partners additional services to develop their sales. The services include not only technical and marketing support, flexible financial schemes and other standard services but also quite solid consulting component,” commented Mikhail Kossilov, RRC Chief Operating Officer.. “RRC staff develops project documentation for partners, examine their customers’ infrastructure. Depending on the results of such examination and on the needs of companies they are offered optimal solutions allowing them to win tenders and successfully develop complex projects.”
Avaya’s presence in telecommunications, industry, oil and the public sector provide RRC with an opportunity to enhance systems for potential customers. In addition, Avaya’s IP Office, an award-winning system designed for smaller enterprises, gives growing companies a complete solution for telephony, messaging, networking, conferencing, customer management, and unified communications.
“Expanding the region in which we work with Avaya will help increase our customers’ competitiveness,” commented Mikhail Kossilov, RRC Chief Operating Officer.  “We are confident that this partnership will accelerate our journey to becoming the CEE market leader – and it is sure to speed the development of SMEs throughout the region.  Avaya’s solutions reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve customer service – the holy trinity of successful business operations.”
“Our partnership with RRC represents a significant opportunity to move ever deeper in to high growth, high opportunity markets and establish long-lasting and mutually beneficial customer relationships,” added Thomas Veit, director, EMEA distribution.  “RRC’s business ethos meshes perfectly with our ‘high-touch, channel-centric’ sales model – by engaging with all levels of the customer organisation and offering guidance through a myriad of complex, modern technologies, Avaya and RRC will work together to support companies’ business decisions, not just their technology purchases.”
