RRC Company is the best distributor of Check Point

Moscow, 12th of April 2009. – RRC Company, a Pan-European specialized IT distributor, is announced as “Best distributor in Russia and CIS in 2008” by Check Point Software Technologies. Compared to 2007, RRC increased its sales of Check Point equipment by more than 60% in 2008.
The RRC Company has been Check Point’s official distributor since May, 2005 and is supplying the whole range of soft and hardware solutions for information and data security. This event initiated new information security division in RRC that accounts for 5% of distributor’s overall turnover.
Presenting RRC with an award, Yulia Grekova – head of Check Point office in Russia – noted that for the past 4 years of cooperation partners have achieved impressive results. According to her, the biggest sales volume is only a formal criterion, which helps Check Point identify the best distributor. RRC develops not only in terms of quantity, but also in terms of quality. Company invests in services and resources, constantly intensifies technical expertise for promotion of Check Point’s solutions. It is very important because without such initiatives it is practically impossible to develop Check Point’s business. It is so because vendor pays high attention to solutions that combine hardware and software.
Indeed, for the past 2 years Check Point made a number of important steps in creation of high-performance hardware equipment, withdrawing a concept based on producing only software solutions for information security. Recently the company has acquired Nokia’s department specialized on secured platforms. This deal provided significant expansion of the range of soft-hardware solutions.
In this connection Check Point and RRC partnership is extremely important since the distributor has many years’ experience in promotion of high-tech solutions in Russia and the CIS. “Experience in equipment sales significantly differs from software distribution experience, - comments Yulia Grekova. – It is a different market and RRC clearly understands it. Using certain tools and tactics, RRC provides us with reputable presence on the corporate IT market.
